My name is Troy Dawdy - I’m the owner and operator of Sunshine Painting Co.

I’ve been painting since 2015 when I started in a close friend’s family business painting student housing in the summers. In 2018, I started TR Painting to accommodate my class schedule at Michigan State University. I paid my way and graduated with my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.

I pride myself on my accommodating customer service, keen eye for detail, and my strong work ethic. I approach painting just like engineering: play by the rules, find the best methods, and optimize for efficiency.

Today, my business is growing and has recently become Sunshine Painting Co.! I’ve been so blessed to have done multiple 9,000-square-foot commercial jobs, and 100’s of residential jobs for some really neat people.

I would describe my business as small but mighty, and I’m so excited to see what awesome opportunities lie ahead. Thank you to all my clients who’ve trusted me with their homes, and stuck with me as I’ve grown.
